Mobileunlocks.com used bait & switch. Website said the charge to unlock a cell phone is $15. I paid $15 after I was charged I was notified the cell phone was eligible to be unlocked (not under contract, not blacklisted, lost or stolen) but to finish the unlock process I would be charged $50. Very misleading. I messaged a request for a refund via the live support and was told the $15 was non refundable. Mobileunlocks said the $15 was to check if the phone was eligible to be unlocked. In order to complete the unlock process I would have to pay another $50.

Which I did 10/2/2024. Website shows instant unlock. After paying the additional $50 the phone remained locked. Showing the process was at 99% complete immediately after I paid $50. I messaged live support multiple times throughout the month of Oct 2024 requesting an update on the status. I received same message repeatedly sorry for the inconvenience & I understand your frustration. Even acknowledging that the process should have been completed & to wait patiently because the process was 99% complete. I had been at 99% complete since the date of purchase 10/2/2024. 2 weeks in after multiple messages to live support I received an email from a supervisor again apologizing and stated they have prioritized my case. I requested a refund & was told non refundable. 3rd week supervisor again emailed and again apologized for the delay. I requested multiple times for a refund and was told it was non refundable. On Nov 1 I opened a dispute with my credit card company. Mobileunlocks has 30 days to provide documentation. In the mean time they have $65 of my money and the phone is still locked. There is no customer support number to call. Email sent to me is a no reply email. My phone is not under a contract, paid in full, not blacklisted, lost, or stolen. I simply changed from 1 carrier to another. Mobileunlocks is a scam. They show hundreds of positive reviews???

I went to the official AT&T unlocked device website and it seems legit I could not go through the app on my phone because it didn't pull up the information I needed on my other line so I did what they told me to do was enter in the IMEI number then after I answer all the questions it went straight to the payment screen

I went back in a couple of days and asked AT&T do they charge a fee to unlock your phone and they said no that's when I realized I was scammed

The people are running a scamming website called mobile unlocked where it makes people think that their phone is being unlocked to any carrier when reality they’re not actually unlocking it, they’re scamming. Then they would charge people $70 for more service, in other words in order to proceed with the process they try to charge them anywhere from $70-$100.

I gave them my IMEI number for them to unlock my phone. All over the site they have said i would recieve my unlock code via email instantly or UP TO 15 minutes. Its been hours now n since i first checked it said it was 20% done. Hours later it has not changed. And there is no way to reach them n the number provided charges u per minute to even call. Also in ur section asking their phone number it wouldnt allow their number so its

was told they would unlock the phone within 48 hours since it was locked to t-mobile and i wanted to switch the plan to verizon’s visible service, after over a month of waiting the phones still locked and the site support chats and links all “fail” in their own ways making it impossible to request a refund.

it's been 30 days and everything points to a scam. I've already reported it to my credit card and bank companies, but want to make sure this doesn't happen to someone else.

Order Ref: ******** Phone Unlock for Galaxy Note10 *************** locked to ***** ******** Your order is 95% Completed.

***** ******** Current Unlocking Timeframe: 24-72 hours

You don't need to do anything at this stage, simply wait for the process to complete. You may continue to use your handset as normal in this period.

Please note that timeframes quoted are WORKING DAYS, so if your unlock is delayed please give consideration to bank holidays and weekends.

Website advertises an unlock service. I paid for the service. All faq, information and terms snd conditions are consistent with what i understood to be an unlock service for my phone. Email

After 24 hours they asked for another 100 dollars to unlock. So the 26 dollars i first paid for was supposedly an “eligibility check” with no a priori clarity that the actual unlock would require more $$$. Customer support is not helpful and point to terms and conditions that are vague and unclear. This is a rip off bait and switch tactic and unscrupulous dishonest business practice.
