Which I did 10/2/2024. Website shows instant unlock. After paying the additional $50 the phone remained locked. Showing the process was at 99% complete immediately after I paid $50. I messaged live support multiple times throughout the month of Oct 2024 requesting an update on the status. I received same message repeatedly sorry for the inconvenience & I understand your frustration. Even acknowledging that the process should have been completed & to wait patiently because the process was 99% complete. I had been at 99% complete since the date of purchase 10/2/2024. 2 weeks in after multiple messages to live support I received an email from a supervisor again apologizing and stated they have prioritized my case. I requested a refund & was told non refundable. 3rd week supervisor again emailed and again apologized for the delay. I requested multiple times for a refund and was told it was non refundable. On Nov 1 I opened a dispute with my credit card company. Mobileunlocks has 30 days to provide documentation. In the mean time they have $65 of my money and the phone is still locked. There is no customer support number to call. Email sent to me is a no reply email. My phone is not under a contract, paid in full, not blacklisted, lost, or stolen. I simply changed from 1 carrier to another. Mobileunlocks is a scam. They show hundreds of positive reviews???

After 24 hours they asked for another 100 dollars to unlock. So the 26 dollars i first paid for was supposedly an “eligibility check” with no a priori clarity that the actual unlock would require more $$$. Customer support is not helpful and point to terms and conditions that are vague and unclear. This is a rip off bait and switch tactic and unscrupulous dishonest business practice.
