We started a romance through eharmony by phone. The scammer (Linda Adu) wanted my number so we could text. We talked about our lives together on the phone. She said she was a fashion designer that gets contracts. She said she did not have alot of money becsuse of bad relationships and at the time her car was in the shop and she needed money to get it fixed, to be able to come and see me. She had no money for groceries as well. I sent $500.00 through Zelle to fix her car and and then sent $120.00 through Zelle for groceries. The person promised to repay me. She then demanded more money. When i attempted to call her, i found the phone is disconnected. What started out as a hope for a romance through Eharmony turned into a scam.
