My wife and I contracted Sue L and Chris H for a home remodeling project. The project consisted of remodeling two bathrooms and a powder room plus hardwood flooring from the great room down the hallway to the three bedrooms. Total cost was over $20,000 not including the cost of the hardwood flooring which we purchased and paid for ourselves. They asked for $7,000 down and another $7,000 after a third of the project was completed and then the remainder at the completion of the project. They gave us a timeline of around 1 and half months to complete the entire project. The hardwood flooring was installed, and Chris H did a nice job with that. The wood molding around the entire floor area was only partially completed. The hallway bathroom was partially completed and the tile work in this bathroom left a much to be desired from a quality perspective. The powder room tile floor was not completed as well. The biggest issue was that they would not show up when they said would. Numerous days were recorded where they would say they would be at the house to do the work at 10:00 a.m. only to show up hours later and then have excuses as to why they were late. And on top of that they would work for maybe two or three hours and then leave. There were only a few occasions where they actually would spend more than 4 hours of the day working on the projects. Excuses ranged from Sue was sick, Chris was sick, our truck broke down, or they were picking up materials only to not show up.

The final straw came when they said they would be at our house for work and then we did not hear from them for almost two days. I called and left messages and had no reply. When I did get a reply Sue L stated she was sick from lung surgery, and they removed the tubes from here lungs, but she was at Home Depot getting material and would be at our house later on. She also told me that the dumpster company was coming to pick up the full dumpster as well. I told her that I don't want her at my house anymore. This type of customer service had been going on since February 11th, 2024, when we hired them. I'm sick of being

jerked around and for them to come get their tools and get out of my house. I also told her that I called the dumpster company and they said that she had not paid the dumpster fee and they could not remove the dumpster from my property without payment first. The dumpster company told me that she refused to pay for the dumpster, which was part of the contract agreement with us, and if I wanted the dumpster removed, I can pay for the cost of removal. That cost was $752.86. They didn't pick up their tools and they also blocked me from calling or texting them to make arrangements for any type of reimbursement.

I have gone on the social media sites where she is located and those too get blocked whenever I try to reach out to her. I have submitted a report to the NY State Attorney General's Office as well as this site. This company has done the same thing to several other homeowners in the area as well. I am trying to get those folks contact information so we can go for a class action lawsuit. This woman has the scam down very good. No banking records, no address just a P.O number. If you look up her info on the web sites, she has moved over 12 times in the past ten years and has changed her cell phone number too many times to count. I know she also owes some of the folks she contracted for working with her, wages as well.
