I had applied on Linkin, for a data entry position, they contracted me stating they wanted to interview me, I thought it was legit as in was through Linkin. I interview and got the job, they sent me company documents to fill out even a Job offer letter.
they sent me a cashers check for 4810.00 and told me to deposit it, it was for the software that i was to purchase. they asked me to send the money through Zelle, I told them I had to wait until the check cleared, then the threats started. at that time I realized it was a scam, and I called the bank and told them to pull that check, they told me it wasn't a good check anyway.
