I was in search of an apartment for me and my girlfriend who is expecting. I found an affordable apartment via Apartments.com and contacted the so called owner. I emailed them (Mohammed Bhadelia) and received a response from them saying that they live in another state and can send me the keys for the apartment once I pay the refundable security deposit. I paid the deposit and he told me I would receive the keys via FedEx on my doorstep and that he would send the parcel out the same day but I haven’t seen the apartment yet. I wait the whole day and the next morning he tells me that his lawyer told him to receive the first and last months rent before he would be able to send out the keys to my address
