I was contacted by text message from a 681 area code stating they saw my resume on indeed job search site offering a work from home position paying $40 an hour. I inquired about company name, address, website, phone number and job description. I was text job description as data entry and order fulfillment. No company information was sent. I asked again for company information and was given mommaandthem.com website. After doing some investigating I responsed not interested and deleted text messages.

This scammer contacted me about a job offer where I can work from home and be able to get paid $30 an hour. So he ended up sending me a fraudulent check so I can deposit it into my bank account, to be able to “purchase equipment”. As soon as I figured that it was a scam he ended up blocking me
