I spoke with a woman who had puppies for sale. She sent me a picture of the puppy and a contract. I paid her $850.00 throught Zelle which was to cover the price of the dog and the dog's flight to Massachusetts. The dog was to be shipped on May 8 on a 12:18PM flight to Massachusetts. Early morning on May 8, I received a tracking number for the puppy for when she was on the flight. Two hours before the flight, I received a call from a gentleman (he had a very strong accent) who said that the fees for transport needed to be paid and those fees were $950.00. These fees were required before the puppy could be shipped and that they were mostly refundable. I paid but the puppy "missed" the flight. The new date for shipping was May 9 at 11:00 AM. I called the woman who was the supposed owner of the puppy and she said she would check to make sure things were going well. Again, two hours before the flight, I received a call from the same gentleman saying that there were additional papers to file and more money was needed. I did not pay the additional money and of course did not receive a puppy or a refund.

Paid 800 as a deposit for dog. 1 hour before the dog was supposed to be sent the asked for 950$ for insurance purposes. They then wanted more money for something to do with a crate and I refused. They now will not return calls and will not give me back my money.
