Debt Collection SCAM

My father was the victim of this scam. I (his daughter), my aunt, and my mother all received calls from this company claiming that my father owed them money and that he is being sued for debt collection that was not repaid from 2010. They then tried to set up a payment plan with my father for the amount owed to charge him $75 monthly. He also had to pay any initial $75 on the phone. He unfortunately gave them his last 4 of SSN, and a credit card to pay the amount, they already had his phone #, full name, and mailing address. They sent over a document via HelloSign showing the "legitimacy" of the transaction. After speaking with him and looking over the document there are multiple red flags. The company does not have an online presence, the address on the document is not for their company, and the email address is very fishy. I had my father lock the card and contact his bank the next day to film a claim with them. I have included some screenshots to help. I will be contacting the FTC next.

They called me and told me they were going to put a lien against me and take me to court from a credit card charged off in 2011. I obviously did not do my research and gave them my debit card information and made a payment of $75.00 and set up a payment plan and signed for the debt last week. After reading about scams from this place, I called Credit One Bank and they said yes the account was charged off to Midland. I called Midland and asked if they sold the account and they said no. I made arrangements to put this off with Midland. Called and confronted Montgomery Moore and Associates and got the run around. I had to cancel my debit card and switch bank accounts.

These people tried to charge me 1500 when the account is only 700.

They kept calling us (my husband, his spouse, and father) telling us we need to call this number listed above in regards to important documents that were lost. We didn’t call the number and the. They started calling me 4 times a day telling us to call this #. So my husband finally called it and they told him he was being sued by a bank for his account going negative $897. They charged it off and are now taking him to court for $1600 and waiting for a judge to sign off on the paperwork. There is nothing on the internet about this company. And my husband never had a bank account go negative. They continue to harass me 3-4 times a day. They already had his name, address, phone # and email address.
