My only complaint is the time the whole process took since it did go past the 30 day mark, however we are happy with the outcome since we are finally timeshare free and have made a bit more money than what we had originally put out.

Morford Brokers Group and their team guided my wife and I through a closing in Mexico. Since we originally bought our membership in Mexico for our Vidanta timeshare, and had more than 50k invested, collaborating with the Mexican laws and regulations was going to be our best bet in getting this closed sooner than expected. We were a bit worried to start, since we were dealing with legal contracts that we had not much information on, but our broker was able to guide us through and explained everything very well on how the process worked. We just received our funds in less than 2 months after initiating and we couldn't be more relieved..

I have been making profit on splitting my weeks of my Cabo Azul and my Pueblo Bonito memberships for some time now. The brokers and agents at Morford Brokers put me in contact with the best clients for my weeks. I do eventually want to sell my memberships which I know will be a great advantage. But, since my family and I still travel we get to pay for our vacations with the profit we make when renting the weeks, or we sometimes still stay at these resorts with my membership, so renting the weeks is our best option at the moment.

Morford connected me with the best buyer of my 2 mexican timeshare properties, got the best offer for both and so now I have added extra $ towards my retirement. The process wasn´t as long for me so I had a great experience using Morford Brokers for the transaction if you are selling your timeshare

I have been working with Morford Brokers Group for about 3 years now, the reason being because we have sold more than 2 properties and are currently working on selling my final timeshare. I would describe Morford as an investment, I have been able to rent out, sell, or trade weeks with other members who are now travelling a newer way without buying into timeshare. On my second timeshare I was able to completely sell and get out of paying more money and I received an excellent amount for it. My broker has connected me with many people in the market who purchase timeshares and we are going the same route with my final property which we are currently closing on. These transactions are somewhat lengthy, but so worth it

Covered some outside fees that I was not contemplating but once I submitted the missing documentation, Mexico released my contract and the money was transferred into my accounts. Morford guided me through the transaction and represented me so they are the a great company to do business with

Went thru the process of selling our share at Mayan with Morford Brokers. We had everything nice and planned out and were tackling things as they came. We had some issues with Mexico while doing the whole transaction which delayed the closing about 30 days more. I was upset about this in the beginning but I understood that it was Mexico´s laws that needed to be followed and it was not the brokers fault. At the end, my funds were released into my account and I had no money missing which was as huge relief. I recommend if you´re going to sell using Morford to be patient with the process and to understand that there are other entities involved that could add time to the closing date.

Sold Vidanta to Morford Brokers Group and I am excited to say that the process worked just as it was explained in the beginning. Yes, some fees are involved but paying those in a timely manner are necessary to complete the process. The benefit of this is that you end up getting more money in the end, which is why I went ahead and trusted that everything would work out just fine. Vidanta was never really a great fit for us, they wanted us to keep spending money and we never got to reserve when we wanted. Plus, fees and dues were getting out of hand and expensive. We would probably pay more money to stay at Vidanta than if we stayed elsewhere without being members. This was tiring so I was glad I trusted in Morford and their amazing Brokers to get this transaction handled quick.

Purchased a timeshare in Spain 10 years ago that did not end up being what we thought it was going to be. At the end, I decided to stop paying for it and was OK with the fact that it would go to collections. My husband then decided to take over the payments so that my credit was not affected and he paid the balance and the maintenence fees for 7 years. Finally, we were able to sell it to Morford Brokers Group and they were very professional and quick with the purchase. This process did take about 6 months due to the fact that the paperwork was from abroad and I did get a little nervous at that point, but at the end Idid end up getting my money for the timeshare and most importantly we do not have to pay for it anymore. Huge thanks to Morford for their services provided!

I had no idea how this was going to work out in the beginning since I had no prior knowledge about Morford Brokers Group, but they have ALL been of great help with our transaction. We are currently selling our Marriott membership and Morford is the buyer. All of the communication is done through email and phone and we have not had any issues. Our closing date is set for this upcoming Monday and we are looking forward to continue doing business with Morford and recommend the company to everyone we know who are in the same boat with their timeshares.

I've read a lot of reviews on Morford Brokers Group with varying experiences. My experience was a good one. I won't say my experience selling my timeshares was anything but frustrating, but it wasn't Morford´s fault. All of the hassle came from Marriott´s exercising right of first refusal and the extremely lengthy process of the entire ordeal (over 8 months). Morford sold 3 of my timeshares in all. All 3 times. I did not get exactly what I paid for the memberships originally, but we got many many wonderful years use out of them, so we were ok with letting them go for a bit less. I would use Morford again, but I won't have to! They sold all of my memberships. I would recommend them to a friend though.

I have sold 2 timeshares where my husband and I were owners and I am currently selling a timeshare where my sister is the owner and I am a co owner. The process was much smoother on the properties owned between my husband and I, but was way longer and took much more paperwork on the co owner membership between my sister and I. We are about to close on that property this week and aside from all the paperwork and the hassle my experience was very easy especially with the purchase of the 2 properties we sold in the beginnng in which we closed in 2 weeks. Money hits your account directly without any issues, the brokers and office receptionist at Morford are very nice people who are always looking to help you solve any issues or questions during the process.

Just closed on our property after 3 months of signing the agreement to do so.
Took a bit longer than stated in the agreement but this is because I had various loose ends on my contract that needed solving and Morford was able to guide me through each and every one of them, step by step, which I am greatful for. Fees were expensive and I wasn´t so sure if it would all work out in the end but I kept persisting and the staff also played their part in helping me get this done soon and in the cheapest way possible. I got all the money I was promised in the beginning so it ended up being worth it, and I would do it all again if I had to.

My fiance and I were ready to sell our Diamond resorts membership due to the high maintenence fees and other charges that we had not accounted for. Morford helped us through the entire process and now we have more than what we initially paid for Diamond resorts. The staff is very educated and go our of their way to provide great and fast service. We will be using the money we recieved for our wedding, investments and vacationing.

Found out about Morford while our vacation in Cabo last month, and I am thankful because we just closed yesterday on my Vidanta property.
I negotiated more than double the amount of money I had invested in Vidanta and only Morford was able to do that for me.
I will be using Morford again to sell my other memberships that I will not be using anymore. I am relieved this all worked out because I was really looking for an effective way of selling my timeshares for a fair amount.

Paying all the fees and submitting all the paperwork that is asked for in a timely manner is what will get the process to run faster. I sold my membership to Moford recently and that is what I learned from the experience. No this is not a scam, nobody is misleading, the only thing is that it takes a while for all of the paperwork to be processed and dealing with Mexican Gov, Hotels, etc takes time and money upfront. Morford always gave me the security that every transaction was true and legal, and that is what I received in the end.

Referred to them in October. After almost 8 months and thousands of dollars in "fees and taxes" we have nothing to show for our work with them. They are not responsive to phone calls or emails, and consistently come up with excuses why more money is needed, which they have kept and refuse to return.
STAY AWAY FROM MORFORD BROKERS GROUP. THEY ARE A SCAM.

Hi,
Our case was similar but at the end we discovered that a third party that was in our contract did not end up signing correctly which made the process super slow and frustrating. We thought we had lost it all but at the end after 10 months we were finally able to get our payment through and is now in our bank account. Cynthia, ended up making all the discoveries and errors in our contract and she made the process run smooth at the end since we did not want to talk to Elizabeth anymore. Goodluck to you guys please make sure to check third parties that are in your contract, or if you have been divorced or things like that also make a difference.

Happened to us also. Went thru Al in Cabo and worked with Elizabeth and it was all a scam. We are out many thousands of dollars. Took us for all we had b run away. They are terrible people.

My wife and I are very happy that we got to talk to Al last month and sell our timeshare once in for all. Morford was the only company who actually helped us get a better offer, and we were glad to sell it to them. Customer service and everyone working at this company are very helpful and accessible to answer any question or any doubts in a timely matter. It is a relief to be free from the timeshare we were just wasting money on.

After 40 days of getting everything together along with Elizabeth, I was finally wired the money for my Hilton property. After my wife passed last year, and my children showing no interest in inheriting the fees and dues that came with owning at Hilton, I was ready to get rid of this property and enjoy the money that we are putting towards other investments. I was able to get my money that I paid for insurances of this transaction, which I was worried about doing at first but I knew it would be necessary to be able to get my money refunded entirely. I want to thank Al in Cabo for all of his help as well as Elizabeth and Morford.

My husband and I decided to sell our timeshare in November of 2022. We both had no experience or knowledge of how the process worked but we were thoroughly guided by the brokers at Morford Brokers Group during the entire process. There were some refundable security fees that needed to be paid upfront during the process, but as long as you show all the documents that you are asked for and pay the security fees, closing will run smooth. We were able to get our money before the 30 days mark as stated in the contract. We are doing so much with the money we have recieved and we are finally able to enjoy retirement.
