Morretti Aussie House online looked to be a reputable Australian Shepherd Breeder. (www.morretiaussiehouse.com) so I reached out and corresponded with a Steven Young supposedly and then put a deposit down of $500 for a puppy. Two days later I was told the dog would ship from Boston to CA the next morning but was provided no flight details, times, etc. and was just told that the info would come soon. Throughout the process they would answer half of my questions and often cryptically but breeders can be a bit strange and flaky so I didn't think it was outside of the norm. As the day of arrival went on I repeatedly tried to get updates and then was told to check my email. I had a received an email from a travel delivery insurance company of sorts asking for a refundable insurance deposit to release the dog. At that point I knew it was a scam.
