Movie pitcher.com looks legitimate. Try calling them or getting them to provide the service you paid for up front. WON'T HAPPEN. They are masters at taking your money, promising action, not responding and never delivering. They seem to string along banks and web hosting services to continue providing service to a BIG SCAM. Don't fall for it. Find someone legitimate to provide service to publicize your book or movie idea. With a phone number and hard address. This scam has NEITHER. Won't pick up the phone. THere's no address. WHo knows what country they're from. Say goodbye to your money.

Movie Pitcher - to promote your screen play - IS A SCAM

Avoid Movie Pitcher. Their website is very sophisticated. I received an email answer to a pre-purchase inquiry- from "Alex Lindsay."
Once they collected my $79, that was it. Nothing more. No service. I tried calling them on the phone number listed on my credit card, and when they picked up, all I could hear was a foreign language conversation. VERY WEIRD. AVOID THIS SCAM. It's a wordpress site.

Their impressive website & the popular search engine recommendations lead you to believe that you can trust them with your intellectual property. A year ago, I uploaded one of my story ideas, and paid $100 for their professional review, and they expressed by email that it was pitchable. Since that timely response I have submitted eight updates to my story at five bucks an upload via their internet support ticket. All the tickets remain open to this day. Other than being able to see what is online, there has not been any human responses. My last attempt to get a human response was to pay for a professional logline rewrite. They claimed it would take a week, but it has been two, and I have not heard anything despite writing them and asking for a status update. This website, in my opinion is a hands off cash cow operation and fortunately, not one smart enough to perpetuate its own existence.
