Moving Quote Revision Reports & Reviews (1)

- Lawton, OK, USA

The facts of what happened:

The initial representative, Sabastian, was the broker we spoke with who gave me the quote of $4358.41 to move our belongings from storage in Colorado to our new home in Oklahoma. I advised him that I could not go past %5000 to do this. After at least an hour or so of discussing what our approximate inventory would be and what would be covered, how much insurance ($10,000) what size truck, whether a semi or a 26. truck, the CDL drivers, the 2 movers at the pickup and 2 movers at the drop off points, Sebastian again assured me after all this discussion, that we would be using the full 26' truck for the total amount of $4,358.41. We gave Sabastian a check for $2,179. He advised when the truck came to pick up our belongings from the 10' by 30' by 8' storage space, we would give another check for $1000, and the balance would be paid upon delivery of our belongings.

After more review of the specifications (size, amount, approximate inventory, etc) Sabastian said he was getting a call from his driver and had to go, advising us he just sent us the agreement to the quote and that I had to electronically sign the agreement right then, also reminding us how trustworthy he and the company was. Sebastian refused a credit card payment, even after I said I don't trust checks, and advised that was the only way he could take a payment. (Now that I have had the chance to read the agreement quote, it says they DO accept Visa and MasterCard.) Another lie.

Representative Richard called the evening of 11/2/2023 to review the inventory and advised I would be sharing 1/2 of the 26' truck with another order, giving me a 10 by 10

space. When I told Richard tonight that I was supposed to have the full truck, they more than doubled the price if I wanted the whole truck to #15,000. Richar0d transferred me to Roger, his dispatcher/supervisor, Roger did finally bring the price down to over $8,700.

This is NOT what was agreed upon by Sebastian. We told Sebastian that I could only go as high as $5,000. My wife and I are Senior Citizens and disabled. We had a budget.

In my e-mail to the Cancel e-mail address I advised this Company to do "the right thing" and return our money to us immediately, as we have been lied to and also need this money to make other plans to move our belongings from Colorado to Oklahoma.

I have called every phone number I can find for this company, and have not been able to get any other names or means to reach anyone of a higher rank. I found their address online, 5830 E. 2nd St, Suite 7000, Casper, WY, and on their website but can not get any confirmation from anywhere on the internet or from anyone, of the address being factual. I now am fairly sure that I have been scammed and wonder further if this company is a moving company, or any kind of a legitimate company at all.

I would appreciate any help or any suggestions of how I can get this resolved with the return of our money.
