The company posted information on Indeed.com as a legitimate company. The company claims that they are an early outreach program for students aspiring to work in the medical profession. It is supposed to operate virtually and in-person. They presented an offer to become an Assistant Dean of Enrollment. Within that process, personal information was requested, and money for background check fee was requested. Prior to the professional developments beginning, contracts were requested to be signed. The contract stated that professional development was unpaid and voluntary. They did not disclose how many sessions, or the length of said sessions. They proceeded to have several sessions that were 4-5 hours long with the caveat that assessments and assignments based on the information in the sessions will be given to determine whether or not workers pass even though job offers have already been given. Individuals were also already assigned territories and regions. They created a contractual loophole so that attendance was mandatory for however long without compensation. The span of time was a month. The actual role being in the balance because the company hasn't dispersed marketing resources for the alleged universities the workers were to partner with because they do not exist. Workers were told that scholarships can be dispersed, however, scholarships that fully cover students participation would not count towards pay. Different workers were promised different pay rates, showing bias and pay rate discrepancies, however, pay will not happen until students are enrolled. Enrollment won't happen until the "university partnerships" are secured. The workers were told this school has been in existence for 15 years. Many people left when they realized this was a scam and there is no view of pay in sight. The organization wanted to gain validity through other people's connections. The workers were instructed to go to the hr website to find the pay schedule, but they were not given access to the hr website. They have collected several people's personal information. Inquiries were made regarding pay, if or when it will happen, were made directly with the Chief Executive Officer via email. Responses were made by phone. Post-phone call many people were removed from the website because the truth was being revealed.
