This person contacted me for a job offer for a remote position that I did not apply for. The pay seemed incredible and they seemed unconcerned that I did not have all of the experience they were looking for. They interviewed me through a messaging app. After a few min they said I was eligible for hiring. They offered to send me a laptop and a check to cover a signing bonus and work equipment and software. They did not provide more details and said a supervisor would reach out to me for more hiring information/filling out papers. It seemed very odd.
