I was buying a puppy online. I found their site and chose one they contacted me we sent several emails. Yesterday Jan 25 2023 I sent them 5 hundred dollars on Zelle to pay for the dog then sent them an additional 2 hundred for Shipping. I got an email from a Shipping company saying I needed to pay a 9 hundred dollar deposited for a special crate for the puppy. I emailed the person Heather Martinez who I sent money to and asked her what was going on. She said the crate had been rejected and I needed to pay this deposit so I can get the puppy. I refused to pay anymore money worried I was being scammed. I asked for my money back or the puppy. She said she would get it sorted out in the morning. The next morning she said she could pay for part of the crate deposit but would have to pay the rest. I told her no and that my sister could pick the dog up. She said no my sister doesn't have transport papers. It didn't make sense. I told her again money back or the puppy. She said the puppy was at the shipping place and she cannot get it back and that my sister could not pick up the dog. The shipping place was called sky expert transporters. They used [email protected] and emailed me. I am pretty sure they are working together. This heather person has tried really hard for me to pay them and she wouldn't send any pictures of the dog except the ones on the website. I asked for them yesterday after i found out about the shipping crate and started to think this was a scam. I researched the site and found it on a beware of scams page. I wish I looked into it sooner.
