I took out 4 online loans 4years ago , I paid 1 off. Trying to pay the other 2 off when calling those companies the recording stated they were no longer in collecting funds, and there was no number given to reach anyone. Well in March of this year I received a call stating unless I made payment arrangements, I was about to be charged with 3 counts of Fraud, I made a forced payment of $350 out of fear, and 2 more payments were to come out of my account, that was in March, nothing came out in April which led me to believe I was being scammed. I called my bank and the company that took the money out of my account was Multi Credit, in Florida, I looked them up and called, none of the numbers work. Is there a way to find out if they are legitimate and should I pursue getting my money back?
