On Craiglist there was a listing for German Shepherd puppies for $350. We emailed back and forth several times. The original Craiglist posting was in near Montgomery Rd and I-275 in Cincinnati, but when we asked for the address to visit the puppy, we were given an address in Virginia. Email read: "I just sent you pictures of the male below He is 12 weeks old now, very friendly with good temperaments and have been vet checked up till date and registered, right now am in VA my address is 5406 Highberry Woods Rd Midlothian, VA 23112 so when can you make it here? or would you prefer we arrange for a home delivery to you at your address through a pet shipping agency, so let us know which is best for you.
We chose to drive to VA to pickup the puppies. Person said that would work. So we were 5 hours into the trip before realizing the entire thing was a scam. When contacting the email again - they said they "Oh no I had to go masa chaussettes fir Easter". Email used was [email protected]. Pictures used are below - exact same as what other person reported. The Craigslist advertisement was pulled right after we contacted the person.

I was also seeking to purchase a German Shepherd puppy. I happened to viewed classified ad on Craigslist. I contacted via sellers email at [email protected] and seller contacted with a return email of [email protected]. Sellers supposedly living in va and would make next day travel arrangements They also wanted payment via Apple Pay or Zelle. Once payment received by travel agency, they sent that required travel crate needed. I tried to contact via email and phone number that was provided, but no response. I believed I was dealing with honest trustworthy sellers.
At the end no puppy and loss$$
I was also seeking to purchase a German Shepherd puppy. I didn’t go through with the purchase because of these reviews. Also, the email itself and website is very sketchy looking. They also wanted payment via Apple Pay or Zelle. If it doesn’t feel right, don’t do it.
