I wanted to purchase a puppy for my wife for Christmas. We found an ad online for the puppy we wanted and my wife exchanged many emails with the individual and it sounded good so the individual wanted us to send her the money($500) through a program called Zelle which my bank has. So I sent the money and they said that the puppy would ship the next day. This all occurred on 16 October 2021 and since then my wife has exchanged numerous emails with no results. They keep telling us that the puppy will ship but it hasn't happened yet(11/09/2021). We have finally come to the conclusion that this is a scam?
