The event was to take place on January 14-19, 2023. This event
included all-inclusive hotel accommodations at the Hardrock Hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
On January 14th, Music Getaways abruptly canceled and sent out notifications to some patrons that the festival was not going on. Many individuals were enroute and didn't get word until their travels were complete to the Dominican Republic.
Due the mismanagement of Music Getaways LLC, the Hardrock Hotel was forced to cancel all accommodations for festival goers, which caused alot of stress and frustrations. I had a non-refundable airline ticket due to return on January 19th and due to the cancelation of the festival, I had to repurchased additional $600 airfare to leave two days earlier as well as reserving two days out of pocket of $780 at the Hardrock Hotel.
Despite repeated requests from the Hotel, and months of
diligent effort to secure compliance with Hardrock agreements, between Music Getaways
in charge of the Sol Fest 2023 Event and Sol
Comedy Jam 2023 Event did not remit to the Hotel the
contractually required payments . Basically what they did is Theft
of Service at this point, if they never made any
payments to the hotel... They advertised & sold a
service (travel & concert accommodations) & did
not provide..

this include room an board at the Hard Rock Casino in Punta Cana DR. also festival tickets for 2. This event started Jan. 15th, they sent a CANCELLED email Jan. 13 at 10:03pm . i had a non-refundable flight scheduled for Jan. 14th Midnight.
the Hard Rock Refused to accommodate the guess who were suppose to be provide shelter.
