This is an employment scam. Gets photo identification, ask to complete W-4 seeming as if legitimately conducting business. Check sent via mail, Wells Fargo (issuing bank) reports fas suspicious activity and ckeeps check for fraud reporting. Check has two different names and unrelated signature

I was using zip recruiter looking for a new security jobs that works better with my schedule. When I stumbled upon MVP Services LLC. They were hiring on CCTV operators remote, and I did the hiring on process which where I gave the scammers my information. Everything seemed legitimate until when it came to obtaining the equipment to start they sent me a $12,000 check to deposit so I can send it to the “Technician” that went by Bobbi Allman to come and install my equipment that I need to start working and my bank informed me that the paycheck I tried depositing was a fraud . I called the guy who went by John and I just told him that the paycheck hasn’t went through yet and he tried brushing that off and told me that I should still be able to transfer the money to the “Technician.” I told him that I’ll wait till the paycheck comes through the account and he is still trying to get me to transfer the $12,000.
