Online Retailer Scam
When the recipient finally received the so-called "rug," the recipient was horrified by its condition and size. The product was too small to fit any size human and was too wrinkled and odd-sized even to be used as a mouse pad. I immediately contacted the seller but was ignored, so I reached out several more times for a resolution. The seller eventually responded and informed me that their actual products do not necessarily match what is advertised on their website and that refunds must be requested within three days of delivery, which was impossible at this point. The seller did not offer a replacement for the item and excused themselves from any responsibility.
What's more, the seller's actual location remains unknown. I am sure that I am not the only unsuspecting customer who has been duped and grifted by these scammers.
