The scammer used social media. The promotion indicated only shipping and handling fee of $9.85 needed to be paid. This customer paid for the shipping & handling of the product. The scammer first collected the shipping & handling fee plus in another transaction attempted to collect $189.37 from the same account. I got notified by my bank of the suspicious activity and then called the bank to put a stop to the $189.37 transaction. My bank was able to decline the transaction.
