I was contacted via Social Media by Aiyana Jay the second week of April 2018. She informed me that she was the owner of Mystique Swimwear and was having a photoshoot for a magazine in Miami Florida on April 27-April 30 2018 and wanted me to be on of her models. She informed me via a FaceTime call that we had on 4/19/18 that there would be an online audition which paid $***. I completed the audition the night 4/19/18 after she provided my contact information and cell phone number to a man she claimed was from the magazine. This man has since disappeared and turned off his cell phone. She hired me as a model and emailed me a contract which included payment and compensation info. I was to be paid a total of $***. This includes the $*** audition fee and $*** for the photoshoot. The contract also mentions hotel and accommodations included for myself and a plus one. When she emailed me the contract she also requested my swimsuit sizes, my full name and DOB for myself and my plus one. I signed the contract and 4/20/18 and emailed it back to her. The contract states that all payments of $*** for the audition fee and 50% of the shoot pay would be made on 4/23/18. Aiyana Jay confirmed that she received my signed contract via our text message. April 23rd came and Aiyana Jay called me and claimed she had been scammed by the magazine and has not paid me. My signed and binding contract agreement is with Aiyana Jay listed as the owner of Mystique Swimwear not a magazine. Aiyana Jay has singed blocked me on all social media accounts via Instagram and has not replied to my email regarding payment of my $*** audition fee which is owed. I believe that the website and Aiyana Jay is a scam to lure young women.
