10/17/24 I received an email from Thorntons rewards stating I would receive $.10/gallon savings. When I entered my code(phone number) the display on the pump confirmed I would receive $.10/gal savings. I took a picture of the road sign stating gas was $2.99/gal so I pressed the $2.99/gal fuel display. While fueling I noticed it did not display the $2.89/gal as promised. So I went inside the store and requested a receipt. Upon inspection of the receipt, I confirmed I did not receive the discounts promised. So I asked the manager for help and they handed me a Thorntons contact card. Two call and the next day I was told Iust be mistaken on the price and I received a $.20/gal discount. I confirmed this is not true and I told them I have pictures to prove and a receipt. They offered me a free drink and said there is nothing they can do more because I was wrong. I said on my receipt it reads as follows;

$34.64 total cost

11.55 gallons

$2.99/gal



It should have said $2.89

But the math obviously is $2.99/gallon



This is the 2nd time I found this fraudulent rewards Thornton's claims to have for customers. I truly believe they are falsely stating a rewards to gain business.
