I was finishing up my taxes with H&R Block on the phone with Anna Madrigal and I was charged $220 for this year‘s taxes 03/01/2024 and I was OK with that. She hung up then She called right back a second time is where the scam started and she says you didn’t pay last year was $193 and I told her I did, I pay cash 193 . So she charged me other 238 more dollars any ways. For that year also 03/2/2023 and I told her it was paid she said just bring the receipt and we will reimburse you then she hung up and called the third time and said you didn’t pay for that previous year it was $145 I told her I have a receipt for that 145 she didn’t believe me

so she added another $238 for that year 03/02/2022 when all was payed now she took a total of $735 for this years taxes now

Here’s a scam my receipt for the refund I have no one to give it to the number they gave me was a fax number with no reply back. I called corporate on how to refund my money with the number they gave me and they would not speak with me they just hang up on me, I went into the store H&R Block here in Fresno with the address I gave you and spoke with them and they told me the same thing we can’t send it in for you because they won’t receive it and if H&R Block calls them they said they would just hang up on us also so they just told me good luck and that is a scam Taking money from the elderly when knowing that we have to fight for are money that should of never been taken and there’s no way to get it back is a scam
