I contacted Naperville Painting & Epoxy Flooring. Jerry came out and took pictures and spoke with me about our needs of painting our stockroom floor. Next we received an estimate from Kevin ****** the owner. I did get estimates from two others and checked the ScamPulse.com and did not get any indication of issues. We accepted the proposal and Kevin asked for a $***** deposit. I wrote the check to Naperville. He called and said that the check got bounced back because it should have been written to C&C Painting. He came back and assured me that the check did not clear. When the job was done, Kevin, of course, asked for the rest of the payment. After going back and forth and Kevin saying that the bank never released the money to him, I gave him another check for the rest of the job. I know that I should not have. I sent him an email showing that the money was never returned. I would text him and email. he claimed that he had Covid and would look into it again. Then all communication stopped from him. He does not reply to text or email or calls. When you call the naperville number it bounces to Kevin's cell number. he gave a ScamPulse.com certificate made out to Painter's Inc. I have the emails, and texts.
