On 4/19/16, I sent $250 via money gram to a person who said their name was Naquan Wright. I was in search of a Maltese, Silkie or Shih Tzu puppy and the site he referred me to was http://amazingmaltesepups.weebly.com. When I visited it, there were four Maltese puppies on the site for sale. After I sent Mr. Wright the $250 we agreed to, he referred me to a company called u-ship whose email address is listed as [email protected]. When they contacted me by phone, they told me I would have to pay an additional $680 for insurance which I refused to pay, mainly because I did not have that kind of money and Mr. Wright did not inform me of any such charges. Then Mr. Wright threatened me with puppy abandonment charges when I now know there really was no puppy to begin with. He is a fraud and should be stopped or put in jail or punished somehow. The website has been taken down since Mr. Wright got his $250 and after significant research I discovered the 916 phone number he provided me is in Sacramento, CA not Washington, NC. Additionally, the u-ship phone number is located in LaSalle, IL and the fax number is in Los Angeles, CA. The main telephone number is listed as (01)- (815) 200-9731 and the Fax:No. is listed as (01)-(213) 290-4196. He also referred me to [email protected] to leave a message and that is how we got in touch. I don’t expect much from this but consumers should at least be warned. Mr. Wright flip flopped around on price and said he was "helping me" when he agreed to sell the puppy to me for $250. He devastated me since I am on a fixed income and I informed him of that. If it makes any difference, I am 61 years old and the day of this transaction I fell really hard and it resulted in stitches, bruised face, eye swollen shut, and a concussion, all of which I informed him of and sent photos. I have the entire text exchange between Mr. Wright and me if it is needed. I can send it under separate cover if requested. Thank you.
