Caller states you are entitled a refund from National grid ask for your account number at the end of the call after all the information is collected (name,address,addressed account number) they state this is a supplier. I stated I don't want to be a part of this and hung up.

A woman came to my door( suggesting) she was from National Grid and wanted me to pick a supplier so my rates would not fluctuate. She asked to see my utility bill so she could explain. She said it was for my own good that I should pick a supplier. She is obviously from some gas supply company trying to trick people into signing up for a three year contract.

The number above contacted me at my shop, told me that I have great standings on my bill pay and that I get $25 credit off my bill each month from here on out. That I need to give him my billing account number and that he will confirm my other information and he would take the money off my bills. I said I don't have my information at the moment (nor would i ever give it out) and he told me he could wait on the line for me to get the information. I told him that I don't have it and to call me back tomorrow, He told me tomorrow is not good and the offer would expire without giving him the information right then. I told him then I guess I miss out of that offer and told him I'm busy and had to go and hung up. I called my National Fuel provider and told them.

Caller said the call was courtesy call before electric service disconnected due to non payment. Wanted just under 500 dollars to stop disconnect in 30 minutes. I knew he was scammer and reminded him of such yet he continued. I got his whole name (probably fake) and his employee number from National Grid. Never got to payment but he wanted Western Union. Another tip to scammers. Told him call was recorded and I hung up.

they said they are national grids supplier and i qualify for a 15% bill reduction for paying my bill on time. now i know this was fake because i never pay national grid on time. they asked me to get my bill and give them my account number and that it is on the left corner. now that is a lie it is in the middle of the bill. lol. then i told them now wasn't a good time and i would call national grid myself to get my reduction i then asked if that was possible and they said yes of course but can we do it now. I said no and hung up. so i called national grid and they said they don't even do that. i hope this helps anyone out in the same position. #s 18605550169, 2025550109
