Scammer for Police & Fire department tried to get me to pay over the phone but I declined. I did believe him though obviously as I give him my address & he mailed a very official looking payment form. I sent a check. Since then, 3 months ago, he has called me EVERY SINGLE DAY trying the same scam. Same male kinda cowboy sounding voice always. When I confront him (every time I answer) he immediately hangs up on me. And then calls the next day. I block the number and he calls back on a different number all the time. The calls come from all over the state, not ever one location. I am so frustrated!!!
