And I also highly suggest everyone submit their info to the National Do Not Mail List - DMA. Be sure to submit ALL name/address variations (current/past) to this company because you ONLY want to pay their fee ONCE. Why past addresses? We ALL are still receiving mail at our old addressss especially snail junk mail - which is what this mailer is classified as. And remember COA (change of addresses) expire after 12 months so you could still be receiving first class mail at your old addresses as well. If unsure of what name/address variations you have - use the websites truepeoplesearch and Melissa data. Be sure to print your report from truepeople before you request removal - trust me on this! After seeing what is available on you you will want to perform a Google Cleanse!

We are a mail house that buys consumer list from data providers and processes mail for insurance entities. We do maintain a do not contact list, which we use to suppress all future mailings. We will add Mr. **** *****, at address: *** ***** Dr. ********* GA XXXXX-XXXX to this list. Included is confirmation where we notified our data supplier. By adding this consumer to our do not contact list we will no longer mail to this consumer on behalf of any of our clients. This will not prevent this consumer from receiving similar mailings from other mail houses or insurance entities. There are several resources the consumer can use to ensure they do not receive similar mailings. The Direct Marketing Association has a do not contact file that many direct marketers and data providers who sell the names and addresses suppress against. The National Do Not Mail list- information can be found at https://dmachoice.thedma.org/

Someone with less awareness of their financial state and legal matters (i.e. seniors) are susceptible to this kind of warning language. This scare tactic should be treated with the same attitude as fraudulent and misrepresentative language.
