This business doesn't have a physical location operating mainly online. The services I availed was to get a copy of my son's birth certificate, they say it can't be delivered because Apt number is missing even when I already provided it. They keep asking for the same requirements over an over again just to delay and never delivered anything. Additionally, I found a website suspiciously similar looking to this one: https://uspriorityrecords.org/

Identifies as government contracted agency for retrieving official documents. Charges >5x what official agencies charge. Collected sensitive information and money ($168), then sent the wrong document (a $30 unofficial copy of birth certificate). Help line is almost impossible to contact, when contacted asks for more information and refuses to refund. It's unclear whether identity theft is the motive, or simply to steal money from [censored] like me. Either way, it's absurd that such a website has not been targeted by authorities and disabled. The State should be the only authority entitled to perform these functions.

I purchased their service to acquire an official copy of my birth certificate from the state of New York. They say it can take up to 100 days which I found out is a tactic to keep Visa and banks from refunding you and marking it as fraud when you dispute the charge. I already tried to dispute with US Bank and was told it had been too long regardless of whether I received the product/service which I still have not. When I disputed the charge, I got a lot of calls from the 202-900-0977 number telling me to cancel the charge back and National Records would refund me. They also asked for proof of the cancellation provided in the form of a letter from the bank which banks will not do. This was also confirmed by a US Bank fraud department employee. I lost the dispute so National Records received my money and they are still insisting the charge back exists despite me showing them the withdrawal on my CC statement. It is clearly a scam and they have no intention of getting people their records or refunding my money. I know they’re lying because they told me that the state of NY is the one holding things up but I was able to get my birth certificate from the state within two weeks after I figured out which department to call and sent a money order of only $25. My concern is that you need to give your ssn to NationalRecords.org throughout this process and now they could sell that info and my identity could be stolen. They should be barred from doing business in the United States. Also the billing comes out of Manchester in the UK but the bank said they have operations in France as well. Please help protect others from getting scammed like me. I have no idea where this company is because there is no contact information whatsoever on their website.

This comes up as the first thing when you google Virginia Birth Certificate Copy. It asks the identical questions as the Virginia Vital Records website, which also uses an online service to order birth certificate.

I requested a birth certificate. Have my personal information such as social security number, name, address, and bank debit card. They charged me $168 and said the process was complete and to expect the birth certificate within 30 days. They then sent emails stating that i needed to provide a picture of credit card statement and bill, not the cover of a piece of mail. I declined to and asked for a refund. Got sent into a loop and was told i could cancel on the website. The submit cancelation button was non functional. I called customer service and they kept trying to get more personal information out of me. I declined and insisted on a refund. They said if the website wouldn't work, then to email them about it and their team would issue a refund. It was super fishy all around and now I'm left in the dark about it. Looked up reviews and it's believed to be a scam by many others.

I tried to order my birth certificate online so that I could switch my drivers license from MN to ND. This website asked for a lot of personal information, including my social security number, drivers license, etc. I paid $168 using my bank debit card. A few days after I submitted my information, I was getting emails from them asking for more information. The last email I received asked for me to send in a signed paper. I brought this paper to my local county office. The paper looked suspicious to them. The county office said they had never received or seen a record from this place and were unfamiliar with it. They also said birth certificate costs shouldn’t be that high.

Website appeared incredibly legitimate and ended up being a deceptive ploy. Obtained all my personal information and provided nothing in return.
