Received a package via UPS with a $2,490 check and a letter titled "Apple Store Mystery Shopping Survey Assignment." The instructions were to purchase 2 Apple Store Gift Cards (one for $1,500 and one for $750) and ask for a paper receipt only, that the survey didn't accept email receipts). Once the gift cards would be purchased, the letter said to notify the Company. I also received a text message on my cell phone a few days after the UPS package was received, asking to acknowledge receipt of the package. Upon notifying the Company, they would provide an address to send the gift cards and a Survey Questionnaire rating the Apple Store's knowledge of the gift card product and how long it took to process the transaction. The $2,490 check would be enough to cover the cost of the gift cards and leave $240 for "compensation. I did take the check to my bank and asked if their Security people were aware of such a "scam" and they thought the funds would not be made available when deposited and when reaching out to the Company they would indicate the funds would only be made available AFTER the gift cards were mailed to them and received. I never purchased the gift cards and never deposited the "fake" check from Nationwide Marketing Research Program
