I was shown an ad on instagram for the brand Natural Life. It said they were having a sale. This ad looked exactly like the company's ads and took me to a website that looked exactly like natural life's website. I added items to my cart and checked out. I gave two credit card numbers because the first one said "the type of card i was using didn't match" so I then gave my debit card and it said when I hit "submit" that my order did not go through. Overall, my order did not go through (probably because it was fake) but they still received my personal information (name, address, email, phone number, and two credit card numbers). I cancelled/froze my cards and ordered replacements immediately after realizing it was a scam. This looked very legitimate and it is a shame that I was targeted by someone impersonating the brand since I do love the original brand.

The company claimed to be a company that I frequently shop from called Natural Life. It was advertising an extraordinary year-end sale. I ordered a bunch of stuff from this identical-looking website. When I got my confirmation email, the email address looked suspicious. I immediately checked my online banking account and the charge came from a company in Hong Kong. I called my bank to file a fraud claim as well as cancel my debit card.
