Targeted advertising on the facebook/instagram platform. Sell a product; without notification or permission, subscribed me to auto-renewal, and was not aware of such action until the shipment arrived and my credit card was charged. No easily identifiable contact info or option to cancel. Phone number not available during stated business hours. With some effort, I was able to receive a WRITTEN cancellation of subscription (again, never approved it in the first place) and reference code in October but did NOT receive a refund to which I chose to "live and learn." However, I just now received an email notification of another shipment and payment getting ready to process. With further investigation, I see this is the standard unethical business practice as there are many reports of the same occurrence and for much larger amounts than my $132 (possibly more since I do not know how much they intend to charge on this new notification- it was not provided which in itself is a red flag for unethical business practices). No visible option to access any "account" or membership in the shipment/billing notification that I, or any customer, may have with the company. There is an "unsubscribe" in the email which may be misleading as it is to simply remove you from their emails, not the shipments/payments themselves.
