This is a secret shopper scam, where I am promised money in exchange for buying a gift card and sending the gift card code to the “secret shopper company. “ they mailed me a check for $1680 but said I have to spend $1300 for gift cards at Walmart and send them the front and the back of the gift card with the code scraped off. Sounded fishy and I looked it up and it does seem to be a scam so that’s why I’m reporting.
