I thought lI would share this new scam so ScamPulse.com can share it with people. I receved a letter in the mail with an offer to become a secret shopper. The offer contaned a fake check for $1950.52 that I was to deposit, withdraw funds and purchase giftcards. Once giftcards were purchased, I was supposed to record my experience while buying these gift cards, and then send a picture of the giftcard front and back and the receipt. call someone and provide the card information. I know that this encounter would have left my account with a huge negativer balance once detewmriend the check if a fake.
