I applied to a job on Indeed.com and received an email from the scammer about an executive assistant job. She then asked interview questions via email and sent me an offer email. Then she proceeded to ask for my address and bank name so that she could send a check to me for the home office equipment. I did provide this info but then I asked her if we could please use a company account for the equipment because I didn’t feel comfortable using my personal account. I also asked for her professional email address and never heard back.
