I get repeated emails from people pretending that they've renewed McAfee Antivirus on my PC, saying that my account would be charged $200-400 if I didn't respond in the next 24 hours. I call, and they tell me that I need to let them get into my computer to cancel it, which I never do. If I ask certain questions, they hang up and then don't answer when I call back. Their area code is Chicago, but one of the representatives told me that they're in India. Incidentally, this person was also totally inappropriate and seemed to be trying to solicit phone sex. I don't even have a PC. I just find scammers like this to be repugnant. Having called the numbers provided, my opinion about them has been confirmed. When I told them that I'd called BBB, they next told me that ScamPulse.com was recording the phone call.
