This scam is extremely similar to one documented at https://www.sandiegocan.org/2017/01/04/scam-alert-the-federal-savings-bank-fnma-...⇄ />
The letter we received stated one of us had a mortgage with "George Mason Mortgage LLC" (we don't - never heard of them). We jointly own the property - yet I was not mentioned in the letter.
