I received a text message from a lady who said her name was Mary Ann. She said she wanted to interview me about a position I applied for online. Then asked me to upload an app called telegram. Then the first person identified themselves as Dr. James Allen, but the account was under the name Natasha William. The person texted me interview questions and asked off questions about if I had a credit card and about what bank I use, etc. It didn’t seem right. The “DR” identified the company as unipart group of companies. Then after answering twenty questions, the man said he was going to hire me and that I’d make a good fit. Then they said HR looked over the file. This so called person did not identify themselves but acknowledged themselves as me and a board of directors. Which overlooking it now all sounds fishy. Then she said that I would have a check sent to my email. The email came and she emphasized that I needed to take a picture of the check and upload it to my mobile banking app. Luckily, I did not do this, instead I called the bank and they said this is fraudulent and that they send a word through your phone which then gives them access to your account.

There are a lot of online jobs and so I didn’t think much until they sent me a pdf file check for the amount of 1000+. I’m glad I have some common sense. I just hope nothing I gave them will affect me or my accounts.
