I purchased 6 flashlights from NeverPaints.com as Christmas presents on 10/31/22 from an Instagram ad (image attached), that redirected me to the NeverPaints.com site. The purchase was for a 90,000 Lumens flashlight. When I made the purchase, the image on the site matched the AD. It took 6 weeks for them to ship me the 6 flashlights. When I received them, they clearly did not match the ad, nor the site, and were obviously not 90K Lumens. I own one of each of 10K, 20k & 50k flashlights, the ones I was shipped, compared at about 15-18K.
I sent emails to NeverPaints.com support with pics clearly showing that I wasn't sent what their ads or site showed, and that they clearly were not 90k lumens flashlights. They simply denied and said I was shipped the 90k model that I purchased. They immediately removed all versions of the flashlight, except for the 20k basic model, which still is not the model that I was shipped.
I filed a complaint with PayPal, with photos and this same explanation, yet they set a judgment in place that I could only receive a refund if I paid for return shipping. I sent them link to FTC and other consumer websites, which explain that in this case, where I was not sent what I ordered, the seller is responsible for the return shipping (regardless if they ship direct or use a drop-shipper), not the consumer. PayPal is allowing scammers a loophole, just because the company that registers with PayPal sets up (front) advertisers and sellers that use the parent as a drop shipper.
I still have these flashlights in their original OEM packaging. I am willing to send them back for a refund, if the seller or drop shipper pays for the shipping.
This companies should clearly have class-actions against them. I just want a refund.
