After responding to them with their questions answered they told me I was a good match for their kittens and proceeded to give me direction on how they wanted me to pay for the kittens (Zelle). I was going to get two kittens (each were $750) and the shipping of the kittens from Phoenix, AZ (where they claimed they were based) was an extra $150 each to send them to where I am in California. Through Zelle I paid them $1000 and $800 through Apple Pay. After they received the payment, they continued to email me back with further information about my kittens travel arrangements so it did not seem iligitament at the time. After the "breeder" told me they would contact the "travel agency" about delivery, this "travel agency" emailed me a couple hours after with a confirmation email and tracking number. About two hours after that email, they emailed me again to tell me that "the weather conditions for travel isn't safe for the kittens" and that I need to pay over $1200 for a Air Conditioned Pet Travel Crates that is temperature regulated. After I refused to pay that kind of money for a crate I didn't hear back from that "travel agency" again. I also called the number that they provided me on their transfer of ownership document that they had me sign and an automated google voice asking to state my name so they can transfer me. The phone then rang for about a minute until it went completely silent. I called twice and then received a text from them saying "Hello (my name)" and nothing else... kind of scary. I then proceeded to ask them to call me but they gave the excuse that they were busy but could text as if that made sense. After arguing that I do not want to pay for a special expensive crate to them, I didn't receive a response. I have lost $1800 from this terrible Ragdoll Kitten scam. DO NOT fall for this.
