One of my friends on Facebook reached out to me on Facebook Messenger asking how I was doing and did I receive my grant money via FedEx that he had seen my name on the winners list. When I responded no he gave me a phone number and suggested I text asking if I was still on the Winner's List. I did that and immediately got a sick feeling Googled the phone number that I texted and received information that this was a scam so I have blocked him and informed him this was a scam. I don't remember ever meeting this person or remembering how we became friends on Facebook but I know we've been friends for a long time and we have several mutual friends.
