They reached out via email (from Indeed.com) - asking me to be a package handler to receive and send packages for them. I would receive a payment of 3K after the month trial was over. After a month they disappeared and ghosted me. No emails and their website stopped working. Didn't realize this was a scam and even uploaded my driver's license and bank information. :(
The person that reached out to me was called Kathleen Welch.

Pretty much same as everybody else they told me after 30 days I will get $3000 in every two weeks I will get 1500 but wants to 30 days pass I start asking about my paycheck over and over through text and no one‘s ever responded back since the day I was supposed to get paid which was like what 12 days ago and I’ve got no response from anyone so yeah they scammed me

Like many others who has been scammed. I was contacted by New Wave Hotspot, LLC through Indeed.com back in January 2022. I did speak with a Nancy Lewis who identified herself as the companies HR Hiring Manager. Nancy provided me through email with an application as well to include the job description. Nancy told me I would too receive $3000 monthly with the minimal number of packages being 80 monthly and it would be $30 per additional package. After the one month trial I would then get paid every two weeks. I signed a job offer and employment agreement as well to include uploading my drivers license, however I did not provide my bank account information. But to make a long story short I’ve been trying to reach out to Nancy via phone to include email for the past few weeks but no reply whatsoever. I now find this to be a scam after doing a little research and reading others comments. The same thing this company did to others it’s done the same thing to me.

I accepted a position with a company that calls itself New Wave Fullfillment/ New Wave Hotspot LLC (website: newwavefullfillment.com). My job was to receive packages at my home address, inspect the items for quality and quantity, upload information about the item on the employee dashboard (website: ui.newwavefullfillment.com), and then ship the item when I received an outgoing shipping label. I was supposed to receive a salary of $3,000.00 a month with the first paycheck not being available until the end of my 30 day probation period, and then I was to be paid $1,500.00 every two weeks regularly. The person I spoke with over the phone went by the name of Joshua Baker and called me from a Delaware phone number 302-613-0131. He advertised the position as receiving packages in the US for international customers because it was difficult for them to order items in the US without having a US mailing address. Altogether I received a total of 11 packages and shipped them through Fedex once and UPS for all the others. Some were shipped to Amazon fulfillment centers and other to the Northeast (New York, New Jersey) coastal shipping companies. I still have two items that I never received both shipping labels to send. I also have all of the tracking numbers of the items that I did ship for them. I believe it is a scam because I've been trying to contact the company for over a week about payment and the two packages I still have and haven't been able to contact anyone. The only personal identification I gave them was a copy of my drivers license as they said they needed to verify my identity.

just apply in indeed website for package handler remote job. after 3 weeks I noticed these kind of job probably is scam. They offer me 3000$ per month and 30$ extra per package over 80. I sent them picture of my ID and direct deposit information. I don not know what shuld I do now. My pay date is end of this month

I was contacted via email that me resume had been reviewed and selected via Indeed for a Package Handler position; which I believed because I have been applying to multiple places. Long story short, I was told to order free boxes and make accounts with FedEx and USPS. It stated that I would receive 3000 monthly and an additional 30 for each package sent over the 80-package threshold. I signed a job offer, employment agreement, and sent in my bank account information via scan from my email. I was told to send in a copy of my drivers license for “payroll purposes”. I was also told to take a selfie holding the ID as well. They have my addresses. I did all that but thankfully I just saw the news where the SAME EXACT concept is going on with another FAKE company that turned out to be a scam per BBB. Do not fall for the easiness of this job!!!

They sent me an email to be a package handler, to receive at least 80 packages a month. I would need to look at them, take photos, and then mail them to the address they provide everyday. I would be paid $3000 a month. I realized it was a scam as soon as I received the email.
