For anyone familiar with facebook, you've most likely seen the "chartered/sponsored" ads, some of them being knock off product like t-shirts based on your search history as per usual. In this instance this website sells what are admittedly quite nice looking footwear; however, they operate under several different names, at least 2 that I've seen. Both websites are completely identical at every detail, only the name at the top left is different, and funny enough, they didn't even bother making 2 separate support emails. They claim that they are having a new years sale to clear inventory, even though at this point clearing inventory now doesn't really line up with usual fiscal periods that merit this kind of inventory management. Regardless, that's not the issue, every item on their store save for 1 for some reason are marked as on sale for the aforementioned clearance. Looking into the what the website says about the sale there isn't a single detail about it, such as a beginning or end date, as well as no fluctuation in the price ranges or discount percentages. It takes very little time to realize that there is clearly no sale, they are claiming that the products are marked down at a hefty 50% off; however, the "discounted" price is clearly the original intended price and they are scamming people with this supposed sale. I know at least here in Canada, pretending that a selling price is actually marked down for a sale is illegal. Not to mention, seeing as how they most likely bought a large inventory of these shoes and are now trying to sell them off, the shoes are most likely not anywhere close to the quality they claim these supposed hand made shoes; especially since the about section is as bare bones and possible and doesn't give any details on their craftsmanship credentials, source of raw materials, company location, etc. These are the two websites where you can compare them yourself:
