Mike Elliot from "Newport Recievables" calls claiming a false debt for an account I never had ( verified through the original creditor) threatens with a court date and I better be ready to pay over 2 grand in fees. Refuses to give a business license address or any information on what the company is. Shut these people down and do not fall victim to this. Reported to Wausau Police Department on 12/2/2022 to Officer Buchkowski. The better business bureau also shows the "PDS Premier document Services" business this Mike Elliot and other coworkers say they work with has been out of business since 2017 and have a disconnected phone line when you call the number Google has listed. Scam scam scam!

Called about an account from 5 years ago that I don’t recall opening and kept changing the amount they would settle for then said they were gonna garnish my wages if I didn’t pay. They would not supply their company website and each email came from a different person. The company says they are out of California but I'm not sure and could not find them on Google maps or the ScamPulse.com website. It all seems a little fishy to me.
