I placed an order for a Jersey on November 25, 2022 during a "Black Friday Sale". On December 9, 2022 I received an e-mail stating:
Dear Fan,
Thank you for shopping with us. We know how excited you are to receive your merchandise. We are still working on a shipping update for order 365-3050-6717.
We appreciate your patience and will notify you immediately of any shipping updates. If you choose not to wait, you can cancel your order at any time online. Simply click here for further instructions.
I logged into the website today 12/15/22 to find out where my order is. I was told the order was cancelled by NFL.com for being "out of stock" on December 9. I was not notified of this. They say my credit card was credited, but I have not been able to verify that with my credit company yet. At the very least, I feel I should have been notified that the order was not going to be fulfilled. Instead, they sent an e-mail telling me to "hold on" and "cancel if you can't wait". Again, I did not cancel the order and did what they said: waited.
I feel the company advertised a product at a price they could not honor and deliberately misled me into thinking the order was being fulfilled. They did not notify me that the order was being cancelled and the transaction was not honored.
