Type of a scam Online Purchase
Ordered computer from web site. Advertised on Foxnews.com. Received Order number and tracking number. Verified that tracking number was valid.
Tracking number stated shipping from China then to US. Per tracking number, package was held in customs then shipped through USPS. Received notice that order was delivered to a front door/porch in Washington DC. However, that wasn’t my address. I was in another state.
I contacted USPS and they said it was delivered to address stated on package. I assume this was a random tracking number they provided for the scam. Web site only gives email address to contact them; no phone number.
I have attempted to contact them 3 times and still no response. Reported to Better Business Bureau and they concluded it’s a scam.
