Have received several calls from various collection agencies stating that they were trying to collect on a debt from 2009. The first was from RG Financial. They were very threatening stating that they had 3 allegations against me for a pay day loan that was unpaid. They had personal identifiable information that seemed to make it believable. They threatened to serve me at my place of employment and issue wage garnishments if this was not paid immediately. They would not provide anything in writing stating that all my written notices had been mailed (although I never saw any) and they could no longer send more. If this was not resolved immediately, they would take further action including filing charges against me. Because of the "scare tactic" they used, I fell for the scam and paid close $1000. After the fact, they were to send me a letter stating that account was clear. I never received the letter and phone number had been disconnected. Unfortunately, I received the same phone call, with different company names, same information numerous times. The latest being from NGR Group. They refused to provide me with any detailed information regarding the loan they were collecting on. Very rude and vague. I finally realized that they were scammers. Please stop these thieves!
