Type of a scam Identity Theft
Evan said that I would be hearing from someone within a week. So after 10 business days went by and I didn't hear from them, I called the number that was on the contract and no one answered and the voicemail was full, so then I called the number that Evan called me from and no one answered and that voicemail was full, it gave me the option to send my number so I did and I also sent a text message regarding the issue I was having with the no response from them like they informed me they would. So while I waited for a call or response back from them I looked up their company online and was reading the reviews and the negative one that made me dread that I was getting scammed was the one that said that this company took their settlement check and cashed it and that they never received any money from their claim. That they filed a law suite against them, made me go back and look over my contract they sent me and the last page that I signed states that Aleksandar Guldshtadt would be authorized as an additional payee for drafts or check written by the insurance companies office for my claim.
I didn't see this on the paper work that I esigned since it only showed me where to put my info with my claim number and insurance company name my home address where the incident happened and date of loss. In fact they only sent me the 2 things to sign for the contract cause I didn't see the 3rd part until I went back into my account on DocuSign and pulled it up and that's when I seen the paperwork about canceling my contract with them for the first time since I signed my contract. So since I read the reviews and seen about Aleksandar Guldshtadt being added as a payee, I emailed the insurance company to my claims adjuster and let them know that I was the only persons name on any check and only to be sent to me when my claim was settled. So it was maybe an hour later when Evan called me back from my text I sent earlier and that I when I told him about the things I read and also that I wanted my contract with them canceled due to the fraudulent activities I read about. He then tried to convince me that they were not frauds and that they are a respectable company that has been doing this for years. He also said that someone would call me the next day but that didn't happen. I printed the contract and the notice of representation that I signed as well as the notice of cancellation of contract that wasn't signed by me.
I'm just happy that I didn't completely fall for their scam and lose any money, but I could've lost my money like those other people they scammed.
